Price History
Mountain birch is a natural and traditional handle material that provides a clean and authentic expression of untreated wood. Compared to curly birch, mountain birch is a softer material, which makes it easier to work and shape.
The wood typically has a calm and subtle grain pattern and has, for generations, been used as a reliable material for knife handles.
With dimensions of approx. 130 × 46 × 34 mm, the blank is well suited for knife handles and provides a stable starting point for precise shaping and fitting. The material is easy to work and can be sanded and polished to a smooth and attractive finish.
This is our mountain birch, a classic handle blank used in several of our knife models. The blank is primarily supplied as raw material for handle production, but it can also be used for wood carving.
