Curly birch (masur birch) natural stabilized is a traditional and highly sought-after handle material that combines the natural beauty of wood with the strength and stability of modern treatment methods. The distinctive curly grain pattern, with its flowing structures and characteristic “eyes,” gives each piece a vivid and unique expression.

The color is kept in the wood’s natural tones, allowing the structure to stand out clearly without the use of artificial dyes. The result is an honest and timeless material that suits both classic and modern knife designs, where an exclusive, natural character is desired.

The blanks measure approximately 130 × 46 × 34 mm, providing good working conditions for shaping knife handles with high precision. The material is easy to work and can be finished into a smooth, dense, and highly polished surface.

This is our own curly birch, used in several of our knife models. The blank is mainly supplied as raw material for handle production, but it is also well suited for various forms of wood carving.
