Walnut wood is a natural and classic handle material that provides a warm and timeless expression of untreated wood. It is a hard and dense material, comparable to, for example, curly birch, and therefore requires more effort when shaping than softer woods such as mountain birch.

With dimensions of approximately 130 × 46 × 34 mm, the blank is well suited for knife handles and provides a solid foundation for precise shaping and fitting. After shaping, it is recommended to sand and polish the handle to achieve a smooth and refined finish.

Walnut wood is used, among others, in our Tiur knife. The blank is primarily supplied as raw material for handle production, but it is also well suited for wood carving.
