The knife blade has a length of 7.5 cm. This is a handy little gutting knife designed for both big game and small game hunters. The edge is ground along the back of the knife with a blunt tip, allowing you to field dress an animal without puncturing the intestines. Since the knife has a short blade, it can also be used to open the belly of a fish. The fish is opened with a quick crosswise cut, after which the knife is guided through the belly with a long, smooth motion all the way down to the vent. The handle material provides an excellent grip even when wet from water, fish slime, or other substances. The blade is made of stainless steel, and the sheath is made of cowhide.
